‘Weeping when walking with the book in hand’

This week we’re thinking about books. When Gilli and I go walking with our rucksacks we always carry some luxury items; we carry books. We have thought of taking a Kindle with us but we much prefer the texture, smell and feel of a book.

For worship today bring a book you are reading at this moment and also choose a book you would definitely NOT carry for 150 miles. If you like, can you please post a picture of your book on the church Facebook page and can you say why you’re reading it.
