Revd. Andy Gore

I became Pastor of Dronfield Baptist Church in 2013 having spent the previous 22 years leading churches in London. I trained at Spurgeon’s College which nurtured in me a passion for preaching, mission and a heartfelt and mindful love for Jesus. I understand my role to be a man of prayer, to be immersed in Scripture and to help all to be, or to become, followers of Jesus.

I have been married for thirty years to my wonderful wife Gilli. We enjoy long and pleasurable walks in the wonderful Derbyshire countryside and there is nothing we enjoy better than to either read a tantalising murder mystery or to settle down and watch a good film. We have four wonderful grown up children; two live in London and two live here with us in Dronfield and we relish the opportunity to all get together for a noisy day to two.
