‘Resurrection : A Morning Beyond Belief’

(‘The Jesus I never knew’ Chapter 11)

Today is Easter Sunday when we celebrate and rejoice in Jesus’ glorious resurrection from death.

Unsurprisingly, you will need to have an egg at hand please. We give eggs at Easter to remind us of his triumph on the cross and by his being raised from the dead. The eggs remind us of the stone the angels rolled away that we might find the tomb is empty. Now roll your egg around your room because the angels rolled the stone away.

We give eggs to remind us of the new life we have in Jesus, of our being reconciled to the Father, of sins forgiven, and of life in the Spirit.

Now throw your egg in the air to remind you that the chains of sin have been broken and we are free to love and follow Jesus.

Please take this time to worship and to be encouraged together. You can find the service on our YouTube Channel using the link below. (available from 8 am on Sunday 4th April) The sermon notes are at the bottom of the page.
