‘ In the beginning was rest’ Welcome – ‘The deck chair challenge!’

Welcome to Sunday morning worship. We begin a new series this week thinking about the world of work, rest and play.

We will be doing this through the iconic seaside image of the deck chair which is easy to put up – if you know how. The language of rest, of Sabbath can be a hot topic but instead of getting all hot under the collar let us instead see it as a way of basking in the sunshine love and presence of God.

Can you please have a reminder at hand of what it means for you to rest as this will shape how we pray together as a church this week.

Please take this time to worship and to be encouraged together. You can find the service on our YouTube Channel using the link below. (available from 8 am on Sunday 2nd May) Sermon Notes are at the bottom of the page.
