‘Ascension : A Blank Blue Sky’

(‘The Jesus I never knew’ Chapter 12)

Welcome to Sunday morning worship. Today’s all age service, for a change, will be led by Andy and Andrew.

Andrew is going to be grilled by Tom on what Jesus means to him and Andy won’t be using fork handles, but four crowns to speak about our big theme for today which is Ascension.

Ascension is when we remind ourselves that after Jesus had met with the disciples over a period of 40 days, he ascended to sit at the Father’s right-hand side. From here he reigns and is bringing all things under the loving and gracious rule of God – it is this part of Ascension that Philip Yancy finds hard to get his head around.

You will need to have four crowns ready to decorate during worship and have you any idea what these four crowns stand for?

Please follow the order of service below in this weeks’ notice sheet that has been either emailed to you or put through your door.

Please take this time to worship and to be encouraged together. You can find the service on our YouTube Channel using the link below. (available from 8 am on Sunday 11th April)
