Part Time Children’s Ministry Leader
DBC serves the community of Dronfield, a small town of approximately 22,000. It is located 3 miles from the beautiful Peak District and 3 miles from Chesterfield and Sheffield. We are a growing, Jesus focussed Baptist church with over 120 members and attract over 100 to our morning service. This includes 6 Sunday Morning groups with 40+ children and young people. We have a full programme of children’s and young people’s activities throughout the week with over 200 children and young people coming into our church each week. This role will work alongside our minister Andy Gore and our Families, Youth and Children’s Ministry Leader Andy Evers. DBC is an outward looking church, with a membership keen to continue to engage with our community and share the love of Jesus.

We have seen our Families, Youth and Children’s work grow and develop over the past 6 years and are therefore looking to recruit an individual to lead and develop our current Children’s work alongside our established Families, Youth and Children’s Ministry leader.
The post is initially for 20 hours a week and for a fixed term of 2 years. It will be paid at £12.00 per hour.
You will be a committed Christian who is passionate about working with young people or children, engaging and inspiring them to love God, love others and love life! You will have exceptional organisational skills and be an effective communicator.
